Gets the job done!
What I am using it for is ideal for keeping gear cool. Live sound audio engineering does not matter if its loud. For its price IDEAL! Do not hear it during a show. Many are using this for home theatre. Prob not ideal. It is not the fan is fault. Its the person not using the right product for their application. Fans are going to be loud in order to move air.
If you want something quiet than fold a piece of paper and than bend the bottom. You now have a fan and just wave your hand up and down over the area needing to be cooled. It is now quiet!
Def. ideal for closed closet areas, internet server systems, rack units for sound gear, home security box etc. But as many reviews on here, not for prob home theatre unless your entertainment system is located somewhere else other than the TV room.
For the price worth it! Rack fans are not cheap keep my system cool helps save on thousand dollars worth of gear from failing!
