Not just for Routers or Switches !
Exactly what I was looking for!! Though I am not using it for it is intended use, It does work just as well supporting my large center channel speaker for my 7.1 surround sound. I needed something that would support the weight of the speaker and this guy did the trick.

Sturdy, easy to install
This rack shelf is great-- it holds a small piece of network gear that I could not rack, and it was easy to install.

Cost effective 1U shelf
I purchased 4 of these for my rack and they are working fine. There is nothing special to these, they are as described. The hardware including cage nuts was included. I would buy more of these in the future.

Nice Venting
The shelf was what i needed for my home rack. I ended up ordering two. I was able to fit my router on one and my NAS on another.I still have space for other devices on both shelfs. I also love the venting in them keeping good airflow.

Good value.
I have used these several times to organize DirecTV receivers, audio amps, UPS units, and Cable TV receivers. For the price, they are great. Very heavy duty for the 1RU size. 12 deep is what I use. For some installations, I use these to brace rack rails and create a custom EQ rack of sorts. That might seem odd, but it works in places like restaurants that need stuff organized. These are not broadcast quality or serious network stuff. But for most of us, these are pretty nifty and a great value.
